Woodland View, which would become Dore Freemasons' Hall was constructed between 1877 & 1879 with its Grand Opening in July of that year.

Between 1914 & 1919 Woodland View served as an Auxiliary Hospital.
Dore Masonic Hall Company Ltd was incorporated in August 1951 and subsequently purchased the building.
